• Hello friends.

I was at Microsoft / Xbox for over two-decades – now I am not. During that time, I was on an Emmy award winning team who built products like: Xbox Live, Xbox 360, Kinect, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and countless hardware and software features as well as gaming controllers and accessories. I also partnered with internal (first party) and external (second and third party) studios to strategize and help create lasting gaming experiences. Working with hundreds of developers of all sizes, I drove developing multimedia stories about studios, games and portfolios. I also consulted with numerous large consumer electronic and lifestyle brands on the best way to share their story with the gaming audience.

I launched and hosted one of Microsoft’s first Podcasts in 2005 (Major Nelson Radio, that became the Xbox Podcast) that has inspired a generation of creators. You can see the podcast archive and a selection of my video work on my YouTube channel. Don’t miss my PAX Keynote about how I got into the industry – and tips for how you can too.
I also have a Wikipedia page (which is mostly accurate) that has a few highlights of my career and work at Xbox.

Now, I am working on various projects. I am on the advisory board for MidWest Games, as well as helping fintech startup Aghanim tell their story- in addition to multiple unannounced projects in the works.

I am on Linkedin if we have worked together, and you want to connect.
